Our Mission

Ephesians 1:15-16 states, "For this reason, I have heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love toward all the saints, I do give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers..."  The Apostle Paul was greatly moved by the faith and love of the believers in Ephesus, so much so, that he prayed for them regularly because he knew they were for real and they were in the good fight for the faith.  This is our aim and intention at Northside!

As our vision states, we seek to follow and implement what is commanded in the Great Commission (Matt. 28:18-20) and in the process of discipleship (2 Tim. 2:2; Titus 2).  We are commanded by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, to go out and make disciples through the sharing of the Gospel.  Once someone comes to Christ for salvation, the process of discipleship begins.  Discipleship is simply the process of training a young (or immature) believer in the spiritual disciplines of being a follower of Jesus.  These spiritual disciplines include, Bible study, worship, prayer, tithing, serving, evangelism, and leadership.  This process is accomplished through one-to-one, life-on-life mentoring and accountability partnering.  It is in this process known as discipleship that the Church is strengthened and the body of believers is equipped to "go forth and do every good work" (2 Tim. 3:17).

We accomplish our vision through our mission.  To accomplish our mission of discipleship and following the Great Commission, we preach expository sermons from the Word of God, we seek ways to engage in our community through service and evangelism, we engage in corporate prayer, we fellowship with one another to build relationships, and we worship our Lord Jesus in Spirit and Truth (John 4:24).

We openly invite all to come and know the Lord Jesus Christ and to join our Northside Church Family!
